About School

Auxilium Girls' School- a Catholic minority educational institution is situated in the suburbs of Nandan Nagar, 3 kms away from the Agartala town. It is the first girls' English Medium School in the State ofTripura. The School was established in 2003 and is catering to girls irrespective of caste and creed.

The School is recognized by the Govt. of Tripura. Affiliation to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE Affiliation No 2030012, School Code: 33585), New Delhi in 2009, up-gradation to Senior Secondary in 2013 and modernization of infrastructure in keeping with the requirements of the times have opened new windows of opportunities and challenges in all fields of education, making Auxilium one of the Premier educational institutions in the State of Tripura.

Ownership & Management

The School is owned and administered by the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco (FMA) of Shillong Province, registered as "Auxilium Welfare Society' under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, and has its Provincial Headquarters at Auxilium - Nongthymmai, Shillong.

The Institute of the Salesian Sisters is an organization founded in Italy in the year 1872 by Don Bosco, the great modern educator in collaboration with St. Mary Domenica Mazzarella. The International Headquarters is located in Rome (Italy). They are a worldwide organization that takes care of the young people giving great importance to their all-round growth and development through integral education.

Today, the spiritual children of Don Bosco, (Salesian Fathers, Salesian Sisters and Salesian Cooperators and other members of the Salesian Family) continue the rich legacy he had bequeathed to them, bringing hope and love to the lives of millions of young people and lead them to the horizons far beyond their reach. We, the Salesian Sisters numbering about 13,000 work in the Spirit of Don Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarella through more than 1500 educational institutions spread over 94 different countries on all six continents.
